In The News

As visitors to the antique store may have noticed, a transformation has taken place. Our larger pieces and furniture that were once housed in the Studio are now relocated into Laurel House and the Asian Room.

Consignment Days and Times

Mondays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Consignment Procedures

  • Items should be capable of being viewed and priced within 45 minutes.
  • A photograph of large pieces of furniture is required before bringing for consignment, including dimensions. This is to determine whether we can take the piece and also when, depending on space available in the shop.
  • Consignor may terminate consignment and pick up items on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Consignors are to call the office to arrange times.
  • LAUREL HOUSE ANTIQUES commission is 29% of sale price.
  • Articles not sold or called for by owner shall be automatically reduced by 50% on the first day of the seventh month. Items not sold or picked up after 240 days from the date of consignment become the property of LAUREL HOUSE ANTIQUES.
  • LAUREL HOUSE ANTIQUES is NOT responsible for damage to or loss of articles left on consignment due to BREAKAGE, MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE, BURGLARY OR ANY CAUSE OTHER THAN FIRE.
  • LAUREL HOUSE does NOT notify consignors of reduction and expiration dates. Please mark your calendar.
  • Items should be in good condition: no cracks, scratches, repairs, excessive wear or obvious chips.
  • We post a list on the Pricing Room blackboard of items we are not accepting at any given time due to lack of space, oversupply at certain times or our past experiences with certain items. We will also update our website as possible.
  • $20 is the lowest price of items in the shop. The determination to take, or not to take, an item is at the discretion of the Laurel House.
  • If in doubt about bringing a certain item, please call us at 415-454-8472.

 Please Note

The items accepted weekly for consignment change regularly depending on the types of items consigned, how quickly the items sell and the space available in Laurel House and the Asian Room. If you wish to consign, please call us for an up date of items we are presently not accepting.
